| Mr. Zappa, ECS’ Columbus, Ohio Branch Manager, has more than 13 years of sales, marketing, engineering, and project management experience in the field of civil and environmental engineering consulting. He has managed projects including storm water permitting and design, wastewater permitting, air permitting, and environmental compliance projects. Mr. Zappa also has experience in performing environmental audits (water, waste, EPCRA) at facilities throughout Ohio and the United States. He has managed, designed, constructed, permitted and operated remediation projects and systems for industrial, commercial, and petroleum clients throughout the Midwest. His experience also includes engineering design, permitting and construction oversight activities for landfills (sanitary and C&DD). He is a licensed professional engineer in Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Massachusetts. |

Gas Station, St. Clairsville, Ohio. Senior Manager for an existing gas station that is currently under an Ohio Bureau of Underground Storage Regulations (BUSTR) Corrective Action for a historical petroleum release. Currently assisting the client through the Ohio Bureau of Underground Storage Regulations (BUSTR) corrective action process. Activities include file reviews, an evaluation of activities performed prior to ECS involvement, groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation oversight, and completion of the Tier 1 Delineation Notification/Tier 1 Evaluation and Tier 2 Evaluation reports.
As part of the corrective action process, the project involves free product recovery activities on two monitoring wells at the site as well as the preparation and submission of the Ohio Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Release Compensation Board (PUSTRCB) reimbursement claims on behalf of the client.
