ECS recognizes that the earth has been loaned to all of us and it is important that our future children have the same opportunity to enjoy this great resource.  That is why ECS is encouraging our clients to take the Green Initiative, a program developed to help our clients implement sustainable planning and processes that can be fully integrated with their business operations.  Clients not only benefit by reducing operating costs, but they also demonstrate to their employees and customers their commitment to the environment.

ECS provides clients with an Initial Sustainability Assessment to establish a benchmark of how their company performs relative to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.  ECS then discusses with the client how their company can implement changes considered best practices for sustainable companies.  ECS also provides oversight in the implementation of these best practices, and participates in ongoing client reviews to ensure these best practices are being sustained.

The Green Initiative helps clients identify opportunities to reduce waste streams, recycle, eliminate hazardous chemicals from operations where acceptable, meet site-specific regulatory compliance initiatives, and ultimately improve their bottom line.  The Green Initiative also includes a Certification process sponsored by ECS.  This recognition allows the client the promote their environmentally responsible efforts to their clients.
