ECS' Tampa, FL Office Rings in New Year with New Hires

ECS announces Jenell Mann, Larry Garren, Ann Schieser and Brittany Lyp have joined our Tampa, FL office.

Jenell is an Environmental Scientist and joins ECS with nine years of experience.  She has been responsible for numerous site assessment and remediation projects throughout Florida and has developed strong working relationships within the regulatory community during her career.  Jenell's experience and responsibilities include performing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), conducting aboveground storage tank (AST) and underground storage tank (UST) compliance audits, and overseeing UST closures and environmental drilling activities.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida.

Larry joins ECS with 42 years of professional and licensed experience in the residential, commercial and retail construction industry.  In his capacity as Construction Project Manager with ECS, he is involved in all phases of design, construction, estimating, scheduling, cost control, on-site inspections, and implementation and monitoring of safety concerns for environmental construction and remediation projects.  Mr. Garren's credentials include a Real Estate Broker license, General Contractors license, and Pollutant Storage System Contractor license.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida.

Ann is a Field Technician responsible for field and office support in conjunction with ESAs and remedial and construction services.  She assists in the performance of remedial pilot tests, monitoring of remedial operations, installation and maintenance of remedial components, and the collection of Geographic Information System (GIS) data.  Ann recently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of South Florida and is a Marine Science Technician Second Class, reserve, in the United States Coast Guard.  While on active duty, Ann served as a Marine Environmental Protection Division Petty Officer in Morgan City, LA and oversaw the completion of numerous federal pollution cases.

Brittany is a Field Technician Intern responsible for field and office support in conjunction with ESAs and remedial and construction services.  Her responsibilities include performing site inspections, background research, water and soil sampling, and soil gas surveys.  Brittany is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida.
