Joe Knapik, CIH Joins ECS as Director of Training & Facilities Services

ECS announces Joseph J. Knapik has joined its corporate office in Agawam, MA as Director of Training and Facilities Services.

Joe is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with 25+ years of experience in industrial hygiene, safety and manufacturing management.  In his capacity as Director of Training and Facilities Services with ECS, he will play a key role in developing our Underground Storage Tank (UST) Operator Training program.  There are an estimated 380,000 regulated UST facilities in the United States and it is anticipated that hundreds of thousands of personnel employed at these facilities will require this training before the August 2012 deadline.

Joe will also be spearheading additional ECS product launches, primarily in the training field.  He will further develop and expand our suite of health and safety training course offerings, and will direct the implementation of educational, informational, and service products for the regulated business community.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. He resides in Holyoke, MA.
