super60-1ECS is proud to have earned annual Super 60 status since the program’s inception in the 1990s. 

The annual program, presented by the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield (ACCGS), recognizes the 30 fastest growing privately-held companies and the 30 privately held companies with the largest revenues in the Greater Springfield, Massachusetts  area.  Super 60 is the largest business recognition program in all of western Massachusetts. 

ECS was nominated for the 2014 Super 60 award by Whittlesey & Hadley, P.C. and Westfield Bank.

 

Top 200 Environmental Firms

ENR-200-Firms1ECS has earned a spot on the Engineering News-Record's 2014 list of the Top 200 Environmental Firms. Published annually in August, the list gives a look at key players, based on revenue, in the global environmental services market. The firms on the list specialize in everything from hazardous and nuclear waste cleanup to environmental sciences and water/wastewater treatment facility design and construction.

Cumberland Gulf Group "STAR" Award

photo3_cropped-1ECS is pleased to announce it is the recipient of the Cumberland Gulf Group’s STAR Program 2013 Award of Excellence.

“Our entire team is committed to providing the highest level of customer experience in the industry,” says Ray Leather, Vice President of Environmental Affairs at the Cumberland Gulf Group.  “Having a partner like ECS with employees that share the same commitment to excellence truly makes our job easier.”

 The Cumberland Gulf Group established the STAR program a few years ago to address the challenges of operating in a business environment with increasingly complex regulations and more costly assessment and remediation projects.  The STAR Program is an environmental business, regulatory and technology strategy intended to direct the Cumberland Gulf Group and their consultants in a partnership to ensure: 

  • Safety is goal number 1 to ensure the health and safety for employees in order to leverage
  • Technology that is appropriately employed for the complexity of the site to
  • Assess the nature and extent of petroleum contamination in soil and groundwater to cost-effectively
  • Remediate sites to closure.
